The brush is like a comb and I actually really like it, but the formula is wet, and clumpy (rather than dry and clumpy like TF better than sex) which meant you really had to brush out any globs. The formula weighed down my lashes and definitely doesn't hold a curl. If you have nice, long, curled lashes naturally, you'll probably really like this because it really coats your lashes and makes them BLACK. If you have straight lashes, I would try something else. The globby formula also makes this especially hard to use on the bottom lashes without little clumps everywhere.

This is one of the only high end mascaras I truly love! I got this as a gift one year and I love the formula and the brush it has! The packaging is also really pretty!

Little goes a long way!
You only need one coat per eye - maybe can use the same coat for both eyes tbh. This is my holy grail mascara. I have not found another one that won't clump my eyelashes yet make them volumized. My eyelashes are naturally thick and "put together" as in the lashes overlap. The only thing I would change about this product is that yes, the packaging can be faulty. I had one for a long time (probably too long) and the wand dislodged from the end of the stick. lol. the product itself is amazing and should be used a little at a time - which makes it last a long time, too!!
