    Rated 3 out of 5 by from goes on smooth but doesn't last I'm not sure about all of the reviews that say this is grainy - mine is actually very smooth. The downside for me is that it doesn't last. It feels nice at first, but after about 30 minutes it's gone and I find myself having to constantly reapply. Because of that, I don't think I'd buy this again.

The reviews of it being grainy are 100% my experience with this product that I purchased one time. There's a slightly sweet and pleasant flavor to it. It lasts no more than an half an hour after application and it's very light. One review mentioned that you need to warm it up a bit on your lips before the grainy-ness goes away. I am sharing a photo of the product and you can see that it's grainy. It's fine when it's on but it just feels like it's greasy or as if you just put oil on your lips and it's sitting on top of my lip instead of soaking in or sticking to my lips. I should have read the reviews before purchasing but all the 1 star reviews are consistent with my experience.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was hopeful, didn't meet expectations I was a long time user of the Lip Remedy and LOVED it. This avocado lip butter is not a good alternative. It doesn't nourish my lips and I don't care for the grainy texture. I'd love to have the Lip Remedy back!

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good at all The first Origins product I didn't like. I got this for free as part of a promotion, but if I paid money for it I would be asking for a refund. This product is extremely drying to your mouth and throat in a really bizarre way. This isn't hydrating at all. This product needs to be completely reformulated and relaunched, because this is bad.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will make your lips peel I wanted to love this but it is very thin and actually caused my lips to dry out and peel. I gave it a few different chances to make sure and let my lips heal in between uses and each time I used it, my lips dried out and peeled from it. I would not recommend.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible lip butter I bought this about a year ago and finally started to use it. Wow is this terrible. Watery, disappears in 15 min and irritates my throat. The only nice thing about this is the packaging. I tried contacting customer care 3 times to discuss this and my call keeps getting hung up. No one through chat can help me. Don't buy this. There are so many other great clean product available.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can we say, NO Horrible product. Grainy, more like a scrub. No hydration whatsoever, drying. . Just sits on lips and comes off easily. I like to put something on my lips at night and thought avocado butter...yes! Uh NO. I ended up using usual lip balm that stays on all night until I wash face in the morning.
