Tried switching to this and it just leaves a heavy residue/build up on my hair I've tried other shampoos but this one was the worst. I've tried to use as little as possible but nothing helps and if I try to brush/comb through it, I feel like it just rips out my hair where the build up is. If I could I would give a zero star on this.

This shampoo works fine on my hair but makes my scalp noticeably itchy and irritated. I've never had allergic reactions to hair products but I'm certain there is something in this shampoo and/or conditioner that doesn't agree with my scalp.

I have used this product for years... loved it! Sadly it has been changed... new and improved looks better on paper sometimes than in real life. My hair in the shower, felt like I had used a clarifying shampoo on it, it was dry and matted even when wet. No conditioner didn't help! I think my hair has broken off and I have damage. Yes I have contacted corporate, yes they have worked with me by returning my money. Money doesn't fix my hair, but I do appreciate their help. After all they are not the ones that have ruined a great product. I just hope I do not have to cut my hair off... if I do I am not going to be happy!

Fantastic for fine, thinning hair!
I have fine, thinning hair that tangles so easily. I need a conditioner that works; detangles and softens. This stuff is gold! I used the entire line- shampoo, conditioner and leave-in product on mid-lengths to ends. I was able to go two days without washing, which is a first for me! My hair stays soft, doesn't tangle, doesn't look weighed down. My hair looks soft and bouncy. This is my favorite Aveda line and I've tried every single one. Sap Moss works great, too.
